Gloria Marie Scadlock, 58, a native of Morgan City passed away Thursday, March 
31, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Gloria was a lifelong resident of Morgan City, the 2nd of six children born to 
the late Mr. & Mrs. Scadlock. 

She was a loving mother and MiMi to her children and grandchildren. Gloria 
enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed listening to 
swamp-pop and hearing her son, Chris play music. She had a contagious smile and 
will be missed by all who loved her.

Gloria is survived by her sons Christopher Adams of Morgan City and his children 
Kelsey Landry, Ace Christopher Adams and Kobe Peck; son Corey Adams and his 
fiancˇ Tanicca Cavalier and their children Rylee and Corey Adams, Jr.; a brother 
Terry Scadlock and two sisters Rosie Ferrier and Susan Herring.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Helen Carter Scadlock, a 
brother Johnny Scadlock and a sister Katie Scadlock.

A time of reflection and remembrance will be held Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 
9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Hargrave Funeral Home.

Gloria will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
