Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1104.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville for Mrs. Beatrice Ann Vaughn, 71, who passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at 6:30 AM at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Ruben Primor will officiate the services. Mrs. Ann, affectionately call "Boo" by her husband, was a native of Kelsey, TX, a longtime resident of Verdunville, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved her family and her cat, JJ, was a terrific cook and enjoyed going to the casino. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Ervin "Joe" Vaughn of Verdunville; three children, Laurie Ann Doucet of Branson, MO, Kellie Marie Rector and her husband Dale of Niles, MI, and Kevin Michael Vaughn of New York City, NY; six grandchildren, Jamie, Brent, and Eric Bridges, Bailey Clements, and Kimberly and Samuel Doucet; two great grandchildren, Emma Reed and Blaize Bridges; two brothers, Charles Richard Palmer and Steven Palmer; and her long- longtime friends, Joe and Doris Robicheaux and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Burdette Palmer and Doris Stephens Palmer. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, April 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville from 10:00 AM until Mass time. Pallbearers will be her son Kevin Michael Vaughn, her son-in-law Dale Rector, her grandsons Jamie Bridges, Brent Bridges, Eric Bridges, and Samuel Doucet, and family friends Johnny Gerhold and Sonny Chauvin. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Robicheaux and Charles Richard Palmer. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. ===================
