Verna Lee Dennis-Alexander, age 68, a native of Glencoe, La., and a resident of 
Jeanerette, La., died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 PM at her residence.

Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2011 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic 
Church in Jeanerette, La., from 8:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM.

Verna Lee leave to cherish her memory, her mother, Mary Decuir Dennis of 
Jeanerette; her husband, James Alexander of Jeanerette, La., a son, Johnny Ray 
Dennis, Sr. of Youngsville, La; two daughters, Elaine Dennis Lobba of Houston, 
TX. and Delisicia Alexander of New Iberia, La; one brother, Larry Dennis, Sr. of 
St. Louis, MO; four sisters, Mary Dennis Ruiz and Doris Hamilton both of 
Jeanerette, La., Ruth Lydia and Jessie Dennis both of Dallas, TX; nine 
grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
