Barbara is survived by her two sons, Edward James Hale and his wife, Marsha, of Lafayette and Barton Hale of Franklin; her daughter, Christy Brubaker and her husband, Mark, of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, E. Kristian Hale, Mark Scott Brubaker, Thomas Jeremy Hale, William E. Brubaker. Dustin James Hale, Lyndi H. Bourque, Kayla R. Brubaker, and Nicole M. Brubaker; five great grandchildren, Thomas Jeremy Jr., Noah Bourque, Kamryn Bourque, Emma Hale, and Peyton Hale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hale Jr.; her parents, Arthur and Anita Simoneaux Sinitiere; three brothers, Arthur 'A.C', Calvin, and Minos Sinitiere; two sisters, Doris Ewing and Peggy LeBlanc Stapert. The family requests that visitation be observed Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin from 5pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service being held at 6pm by Pastor Carl Benton. Visitation will resume Monday, May 9th at 10am until time of dismissal at Ibert's Mortuary. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday May 9, 2011 at 2pm at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin with Father William Crumley officiating. Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery in Franklin. Acting as pallbearers will be E. Kristian Hale, Mark Scott Brubaker, Thomas Jeremy Hale, William Edward Brubaker, Dustin James Hale, and Justin Brubaker. Acting as honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Jeremy Jr., Noah Bourque, and Peyton Hale. ===================
