Hayden Ernest Tyner, 86, a native of Bazette , TX and a resident of Bayou Vista 
passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at 12:22 a.m. at his residence.

Hayden is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Reedy Tyner of Bayou Vista; 
his three daughters, Cathy Broussard and her husband, Barry, of Berwick, Carol 
Wengert and her husband, Brent, of Houma, and Gail DeHart and her husband, 
Chris, of Bayou Vista; a sister, Aline Goforth; eight grandchildren, Kristyn 
Moore and her husband, Brian, Brady Broussard, Jeremy Dolci, Kellie BaniSaaid 
and her husband, Hassan, Kyle Wengert, Shantell Toups and her husband, Lance, 
Scott DeHart and his wife, Brandie, and Melanie Griffin and her husband, Joel, 
and seven great grandchildren, Sara and Hayden Moore, Layla and Tyner BaniSaaid, 
Morgan and Cade Toups, and Gabriel DeHart. He was lovingly cared for by Debbie 
(his best friend), Aline, Whitney, Katelyn, and Fedora.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Allie May Tyner; three 
brothers and two sisters.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson 
on Tuesday, May 10 beginning at 10 a.m. Services will begin at 2 p.m. followed 
by a military honor service held in Ibert's Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pall bearers include his grandsons: Jeremy, Brady, and Scott; his grandsons-in-
law: Brian, Hassan, Lance, and Joel; and his nephew, Jimmy Aston. Honorary pall 
bearers include: Bo Cayce, David Dolci, and Barney Gary.
