Virginia Grizzaffi Versen left this world on May 10, 2011 to be with her Lord. 

Virginia was born on February 17, 1925 in Morgan City, Louisiana to E.J. 
"Lionel" and Carrie Grizzaffi. The late Luke Grizzaffi was her brother and Mary 
Etta Taylor her sister whom has been her close friend throughout her life.

After graduating from Morgan City High School and working in the Grizzaffi 
family business, she met and married Michael "Mickey" Versen. They formed their 
home in Morgan City, worked together as a family and raised three children, 
Michael Versen, Connie Versen and Carrie Guidry. Virginia is the grandmother of 
nine and the great grandmother of four.

Virginia's heart and unconditional love was always with her family and friends 
of Morgan City. Her true vocation was raising her children and contributing to 
the lives of her many family members and friends. We thank God for giving us the 
time with Virginia.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 
Holy Cross Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time 
of the service at the church. Virginia will be laid to rest in the Morgan City 
Mausoleum.
