Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1106.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mr. Tommie Joe Beason, 65, a native of Evansville, Indiana and a long time resident of Bayou L'Ourse passed away at his home Thursday, June 16, 2011. Tommie was a retired employee of the U. S. Corp of Engineers where he was a Lock and Damn Operator. He was a veteran of the United States Army. A father of two children; Tommie enjoyed fishing and hunting, wood-working, and coin collecting. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Beason is survived by one son Tommie Joseph Beason; a daughter Tammy Guilbeau and her husband Ernest; four brothers Frank, Robert, Richard and Gene Beason; two sisters Vernie Dunn and Katie Lyons; and three grandchildren Averie Beason, Tyreke Guilbeau, and Ariana Guilbeau. He is preceded in death by his wife Estelle Ozelia Caro; his parents Frank and Vernie Powers Beason; and a sister Sarah Tibbs. A memorial service date and time will be announced at a later time. ===================
