Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1106.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mrs. Etra Dupuis, a resident of Morgan City and a longtime resident of Palmetto, La. passed away in Morgan City, June 26, 2011 at the age of 86. Etra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend. She was a wonderful cook who could make an ordinary meal absolutely extraordinary. Mrs. Etra is survived by her three daughters Jeanette Driskill and her husband Tilton "Peewee" of Berwick, Gayle Falgout and JJ Orlando of Bayou Vista and Beverly Driskill and her husband Henry "Butch" of Opelousas; her three sons Forest Dupuis and his wife Delilah of Berwick, Charles and his wife Marylyn of Berwick and Lloyd Dupuis of Palmetto. Etra is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 3 great- great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Francis Dupuis; her two sons Vorest and Leroy Dupuis; her parents; and her brothers; and sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at St. Thomas Catholic Church Hall in Palmetto, La. from 8:30 am until 2:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Thomas Catholic Church at 2 pm. Etra will be laid to rest in the St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery. Hargrave Funeral Home has been placed in charge of the arrangements. ===================
