LLC. in New Iberia, La. Mary Louise "Mae" was loved by many of the staff at Belle Teche Nursing Home, who adopted her and affectionately called her "Maw Maw". Visitation will be Saturday, June 11, 2011 at St. John Baptist Church, 1244 Big Four Corners Rd., in Jeanerette, La. 70544, from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Sorrell Community Cemetery in Sorrell, La. She leaves to mourn her death, five sons, Leroy (Mary) Johnson, Rivers Johnson, Jr., Malvin (Debra) Johnson, Otis (Shankrequlyn) Johnson and Anthony (Wanda) Johnson all of Houston, TX; two daughters, Lucille (Dallas) Frances of Houston, TX. and Cynthia (Eric) Metz of Four Corners, La; one sister, Celestine (Tarlton) Nico of Four Corners, one brother, Wilford Lockette of Port Arthur, Texas, a very , very special cousin, Gladys Brisco of Kenner, La., a dear friend, Ruth Davis, two sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, eighteen grandchildren, twenty- six great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Laura Lockette, her husband, Rivers Johnson, Sr., a granddaughter, Karen Johnson-Wilson, a sister and a brother. ===================
