Mrs. Joyce Keller, 82, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Lacombe, 
Louisiana was called to her reward Monday, June 20, 2011 surrounded by her 
family.
Joyce was a cafeteria worker in the Jefferson Parish School system for many 
years. She will be remembered as a giving person with a sweet spirit. Joyce 
loved people and enjoyed making friends. She loved her family and many friends.

She is survived by her son Rene Keller, III and his wife Donna of Lacombe, 
Louisiana; a brother Larry Verret and his wife Betty of Arnaudville, Louisiana; 
a sister Cherry Nini and her husband Harold of Houma, Louisiana; grandchildren 
Rene Keller, IV, Joseph Keller and Mariah Keller and five great-grandchildren.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Rene Keller, Jr., her parents Whitney 
and Stella Gautreaux Verret, a son John Joseph Keller and a brother Whitney 
"Bud" Verret.

A time of remembrance and reflection will be held at Hargrave Funeral Home on 
Friday, June 24, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. with a service of 
Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 A.M.

She will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.

Hargrave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
