Memorial services will be held Friday, July 8, 2011, at 1:00 PM at Ibert's 
Mortuary in Franklin for Preston C. Landry, Sr., 77, a native and former 
resident of Franklin, a former longtime resident of Lafayette, and a resident of 
Patterson for the past 17 years, who passed away Friday, June 24, 2011, at 3:41 
PM at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.

Inurnment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Father William Crumley will 
officiate the services.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Deshotel Landry of Lafayette; three 
children, Preston C. Landry, Jr. of Charenton, Debra Landry Howald and her 
husband Kevon of Baton Rouge, and Blake C. Landry and his wife Christina of 
Youngsville; five grandchildren, Nicole Pellerin and her husband Brandon of 
Baldwin, Jenna Cawthorn and her husband Greg of Lafayette, Patrick Landry of 
Charenton, Chase Landry of Lafayette, and Brennan Landry of Youngsville; three 
great grandchildren, Jace, Maci, and Lexi Pellerin, all of Baldwin; three 
brothers, Edgar "Garro" Landry of Baldwin, Alfred "Mouse" Landry of Franklin, 
and Tommy Landry of Franklin; two sisters, Marie L. Brown of Baldwin, and Janet 
L. (Weaver) Willis of Baton Rouge, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.E. "Gee" Landry and Cecilia Pesson 
Landry; two brothers, Lester Landry and Robert Landry; and one sister, Elise 
Louviere.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, July 8, at Ibert's 
Mortuary from 11:00 AM until time of service.

The family wishes to extend their deepest heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Preston's 
doctors and the staff of the Patterson Health Care Center for the care given to 
Mr. Preston over the past 17 years.
