Kenneth James Morrison a native New Orleans and a resident of Morgan City passed 
away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in the V.A. Hospital in Houston, Texas. 

Kenneth was a very loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a 
very dedicated provider for his family all his life and a very successful 
business man who worked the same business from the time he left the U.S. Coast 
Guard up in till just recently when he became very ill. 
He had a wonderful relationship with many of the local businesses helping 
provide available employees for their work needs. 
Kenneth was also active in the Rebos Club on First Street in Morgan City by 
serving as a mentor, sponsor and an inspiration for its members. 
Kenneth loved life and enjoyed spending it with his family and friends; not to 
mention he was an avid sports fan along with having a great sense of humor. 
Kenneth was loved and will be fondly remembered and never forgotten.

Ken is survived by his wife, Windy Morrison of Morgan City; five daughters: 
Gabriella Morrison, Amy Morrison, Amanda Morrison, Judon Shermon and Tasha 
Morrison Montet and her husband, Nathan all of Morgan City; eight grandchildren; 
two brothers; one sister; his mother, Grace Morrison; best friends: Lenny and 
Carla Dartez and the Tran Family.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, George Morrison and Dorothy Nyberg and 
two brothers: Benue and Johnny Morrison.

Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Saturday, June 11, 2011 
starting at 5pm until 9pm with a service beginning at 8pm. The East St. Mary 
Veterans Funeral Squad will perform full military honors at 5:30pm at the 
funeral home.
