Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1106.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mr. Clifton Joseph Peltier, 74, a native of New Iberia and a long time resident of Morgan City passed away at the home of his daughter in Tylertown, Mississippi, Sunday, June 19, 2011 surrounded by loved ones. Clifton worked many years in the marine and trucking industry as a crane operator in Morgan City for Tidewater Marine and Patterson Truck Lines. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren they were the loves of his life. He is survived by his daughters Roxanna Cormier of Rayne, LA, Debra Benoit of Carencro, LA, Brenda Rushing of Tylertown, MS, Leigh LaGrange of Youngsville, LA, Gail Barber of Jackson, MS and Peggy Dempster of Raceland, LA; a nephew Johnny Peltier of Angie, LA; grandchildren Mandi Benoit, Nikki and Kesha Quebodeaux, Michael, Daphne, Devin, David, Derek, and Hallie Kelley, Jimmie, Weston, and Sarah Thibodaux, Sam and Timothy Cormier; great-grandchildren A. J. Cormier, Gabriella Rose Kelley, Elizabeth Ann Cosoon, Jhaice and Tylynn Leopoul, Kaynon and Adrianna Powell. Clifton is preceded in death by his parents Tellis and Eunis Rodriguez Peltier; three brothers; and a sister. A time of remembrance and reflection will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Clifton will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. ===================
