RENTHROPE, MARCUS 

Mr. Marcus Ray Jones Renthrope, 40, a resident and native of Franklin, died 
suddenly Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in Franklin.

He is survived by companion, Bridget Spain of Franklin; parents, Charles and 
Sheril Renthrope of Franklin; one son, Ja'Marcus R. Landry of Lafayette; two 
daughters, Mar'Yeala L. Jones and Shamycia S. Renthrope of Franklin; four 
brothers, Wayne Paul Jones of Opelousas, Glynn Hatcherson of Jeanerette, Charles 
Ray Renthrope of Lancaster, Texas and Erik Charles Renthrope of Morgan City; two 
sisters, Kathy Ireland Thomas of Houston, Texas and Chasette "Tiny" Jones of 
Franklin; and one grandchild.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the 
Otis Mortuary Chapel.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. 
Charlie Watson and the Rev. Preston Watson officiating. Interment will follow in 
the St. John Cemetery in Four Corners.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
