Lillie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and being with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. For many years she enjoyed being an Avon Rep to this area. Those who knew her saw both the humorous and loving side of her. She was loved and will be deeply missed. Lillie is survived by three sons, Charles Romero and his wife, Shirley, of Leroy, Donald Romero and his wife, Vanessa, of Berwick, and Andrew Romero Jr. and his companion, Cindy Quick, of Gonzales; five daughters, Dorothy Broussard and her husband, Sammy, of Abbeville, Beverly Sewart of Anderson, CA., Linda Henson and her husband, Sonny, of Ricohoc, Carmen Bellard of Patterson, and Pauline Bellard and her husband, Brian Sr., of Patterson; one sister, Ceclia Primeaux and her husband, Loadis, of Kaplan; 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Romero Sr.; her parents, Alexander and Elia Mire Roche; two son-in-laws, Don Sewart and Rodney Bellard Sr.; eight brothers and five sisters. The family requests that visitation be observed Monday, June 6, 2011 from 6pm to 9pm at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson with a rosary being prayed at 7pm. Visitation will resume Tuesday, June 7th at 8am until time of dismissal at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 11 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson with Father Donovan LabbŽ officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Acting as pallbearers will be Charles Romero, Tony Romero, Donald Romero, Cole Romero, Travis Romero, Dustin Romero, Bobby Henson, and Brian Bellard Jr. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to either: The Heart Foundation or St. Joseph Hospice of Thibodaux ===================
