SELLERS, CHARLOTTE MARIE 
April 17, 1933 - June 11, 2011 

Charlotte Sellers passed away on Saturday at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Morgan City and resided in Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Louella Rody; son, Michael Rody; and a 
granddaughter and greatgrandson.

Charlotte leaves behind one son, Charles Duval of Bayou Vista, and four 
daughters, Mary Duval of New Orleans, Cheryl Verdin and husband Rip Verdin of 
Patterson, Constance Locke of Patterson and Kim Hanks and husband Marvin Hanks 
of Bayou L'Ourse. She had 11 grandkids and eight great-grandkids.

Charlotte was a free spirit and always ready for an adventure.

She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a very friendly person and 
had a smile for everyone that crossed her path. Charlotte was a very giving 
person. She adored her kids and grandkids. She was a big Patterson High School 
football fan. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Charlotte donated her remains to LSU for medical education and research.

There will be a memorial service at Calumet Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 14, 
2011, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
