Irene 'Doot' Tyler Ardeneaux, 91, a native of Centerville and a resident of 
Franklin passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11:15am at the Franklin 
Foundation Hospital.

Irene is survived by her son, Sheldon Ardeneaux and his wife, Carol R. Ardeneaux 
of Marrero; her daughter, Robbie Shedlof and her husband, Bill Shedlof, of Baton 
Rouge; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; 
and a nephew, Charlie Melancon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert 'Pappy' J. Ardeneaux;her 
parents, Robert and Josephine Clausen Tyler; two brothers and two sisters.

The family requests that visitation and services be observed Saturday, July 30, 
2011 from 9am to 11am at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin with a rosary 
being prayed at 10:30am.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, July 30th at 11am at the 
Church of the Assumption with Father Lloyd Benoit officiating. Burial will 
follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
