Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1107.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mr. Argie Babin, 73, born in Abbeville, Louisiana and a long time resident of Morgan City passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Patterson Health Care Center in Patterson surrounded by his loving family. Argie was a pipe inspector and worked many years in the oilfield industry with Tuboscope, Inc. and National Oilwell Varco. He loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings he also enjoyed bowling with friends. He is survived by three sons: Karl Babin, Jason J. Babin and his wife Theresa both of Bayou Vista and Cy Babin and his wife Melissa of Morgan City; A daughter Renee Babin Jones and her husband Steve of Stephensville; brothers Johnnie Bourque and Paul Babin; grandchildren; Jason L. Babin, JayCee Jones, Tyler Jones, Bryce Babin, Jacelyn Daigle, Claire Babin, Parker Babin, Skyla and Haley Crochet. Argie is preceded in death by his wife Nella, his parents Alva and Euphemie Gerard Babin Bourque, and two sisters Yvonne Viator and Mary Grace Landry A time of reflection and remembrance will be held at Hargrave Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 with prayer services to be held at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue Wednesday at Evangeline Funeral Home in Delcambre, Louisiana from 9:00 A M. until 2:00 P. M. A service of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00 P. M. at the Funeral Home. Mr. Babin will be laid to rest in the Miguez Cemetery in Delcambre.
