A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011, at 1:00 PM at 
Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Mrs. Bertha Broussard 
Boudreaux, 87, a native of Glencoe and a longtime resident of Baldwin, who 
passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at 6:48 PM at her home with her husband at 
her side.

Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Gregory Cormier, of Sacred 
Heart, will officiate the services.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Albert Joseph "A.J." Boudreuax, Jr. 
of Baldwin; one son, Gary Boudreaux and his wife Linda of Greenwell Springs; one 
daughter, Tana B. Begnaud and her husband Nolan of Lafayette; five 
grandchildren, Barbara B. Gilley and her husband Hal, Rowdy Boudreaux and his 
wife Wendy, Parrish Begnaud and his wife Candace, Kiley B. Scott, and Hunter 
Begnaud and his wife Alisha; and eleven great grandchildren, Cameron and Tyler 
Gilley, Kane and Koby Boudreaux, Taylor Begnaud, Koen Scott, Braden, Brynley, 
Camden, Carsyn, and Addie Begnaud.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonie Broussard and Adia Bonin 
Broussard; two brothers, Sterling and Stanley Broussard; one sister, Leona 
Broussard, and one step-sister, Olive Randoza.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Sacred Heart in 
Baldwin from 10:00 AM until Mass time, with the rosary being prayed at 12:30 PM.

Acting as pallbearers will be Hal Gilley, Cameron Gilley, Rowdy Boudreaux, 
Parrish Begnaud, Hunter Begnaud, and Nolan Begnaud.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus 
Catholic Church, P. O. Box 308, Baldwin, LA 70514.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc.
