COLAR, BESSIE MAE 
(February 12, 1937 - July 20, 2011)

Bessie Mae Colar, age 74, a resident of Four Corners, La and a native of Ashton, 
La., died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11:23 PM at Iberia Acute Care in New 
Iberia, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church from 
10:00 AM until funeral at 2:00 PM. Burial in the church cemetery.

Bessie leaves to cherish her memory; eight sons, Troy Colar, Briant Colar, 
Lionel Colar, Lloyd Colar, Randolph Colar, Ronald Colar and Gerald Colar all of 
Four Corner, La., and Mannie Colar of Baldwin, La; three daughters, Gevetta 
Colar of Jeanerette, La., Jacqueline Colar Green and Berva Colar both of New 
Iberia, La; three brothers, Earl Lewis and Larry Lewis both of Four Corners, 
La., and Clifford Marsh of Ashton, La; five sisters, Delores Lewis and Earline 
Lewis both of Four Corners, La., Hester Arceneaux of Ashton, La., Tina Moore and 
Ida Mae Marsh both of Beaumont, TX; thirty-two grandchildren, fifty-nine great 
grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Moore, Sr. and Maggie Lewis 
Moore, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
