Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1107.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Esther Boudreaux Guarisco, 94, a native of Bayou Black and a resident of Morgan City began her new life on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Esther was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family. She enjoyed cooking, caring for children and loved to pass a good time dancing and listening to music. She was a very active member in the Ladies Altar Society at Sacred Heart, Good Samaritans, Golden Age Club and AARP. Esther is survived by her four daughters: Jo Ann Wynn of Morgan City, Linda Gilley and husband, Rex of Mangham, LA., Gail Dupuis and husband, Vincent of Morgan City and Pat Cavett and husband, Marvin of Morgan City; one sister, Evelyn Morrison of Morgan City; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Leon John Guarisco; parents, Edmond and Lydia Boudreaux; six brothers: E.J., Eber, Milton, Merlin, Alvin and Roy Boudreaux and three sisters: Rita Boudreaux, Hazel Stansbury and Hilda Wiggins. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 beginning at 9am until 11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am and Esther will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
