THERIOT, JOSEPH DANIEL "SHORTY" 

Joseph Daniel "Shorty" Theriot, 91, a native of Berwick, passed away at the 
Dallas, Texas, Veterans Administration Hospital on July 3, 2011. 

He proudly served his country in the European theater with the U.S. Army, 
Company B from Berwick, during World War II.

Shorty was preceded in death by his father, Charles Joseph Theriot; his mother, 
Lillian Burke Theriot; his wife, Jewel Auenson Theriot; two brothers, Frank and 
Nick Theriot; and two sisters, Bessie Doiron and Dorothy Tacino.

Shorty is survived by one daughter, Beverly Theriot Hawbaker; two grandsons, 
Daniel Irwin Jr. and Stanley Hawbaker; and six great-grandchildren.

Services at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas are pending. 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, all donations be made to the Euless 
Senior Citizen Center, c/o Beverly Hawbaker, 814 Midcreek Drive, Euless, TX 
76034.
