James was a strong and caring man to the end. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and friend. James served his country during World War II and was a proud veteran of the Army. James was a faithful member of Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship in Patterson. He will be sadly missed by all who know and love him. James is survived by his two daughters Joyce and her husband Jeffery Guidry of Morgan City, Sally and her husband Edward A (Tony) Comeaux Jr. Morgan City; six grandchildren Joey and his wife Chantel Billiot Guidry of Bayou Vista, Jarrett and his wife Donna LeBlanc Guidry of Breaux Bridge, Shanna and her husband Mike Adams, Anstin and his wife Jennifer Baudoin Comeaux of Morgan City, Sadria Aucoin of Berwick and Shatona and her husband Shane Jackson of Virginia; fifteen great-grandchildren Alicia Morrison , Jennifer Guidry, Tyler James Adams, Corey Adams, Layne Adams, Kylia Jackson, Wesley Aucoin, Luke Jackson, Andrew Aucoin, Mason Comeaux, Madison Comeaux, Marisa Jackson, Ethan Guidry, Alexis Billiot and Dillian Billiot; two great-great grandchildren Madison Morris and Hayden Barrilleaux. James is preceded in death by his wife Edna Eve Ford Besse of 60 years. Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship in Patterson beginning at 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. A going home celebration will begin at 12 noon at the Church. James will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. The East St. Mary Parish Veterans Funeral Squad will conduct full military graveside services. ===================
