Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1108.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption for Donna Rodriguez Billiot, a Franklin native and resident of New Iberia, who passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 10:50 PM at Iberia Medical Center. Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. In keeping with DonnaŐs wishes, following funeral services she will be cremated. The family will hold a private burial at a later date. Donna enjoyed her rose garden and cross stitching, spending time with her family, friends and her dogs, Lily Belle and Dolly Madison, and reading to her grandson. Survivors include her husband, Charles K. Billiot, Jr.; five children, Miranda Dell Ronsonet, Kerry Elois Billiot, William Joseph Billiot, Travis Andrew Billiot, and Landon Charles Billiot, all of New Iberia; siblings, Debbie Rodriguez Box of Franklin, and Arnold Rodriguez of New Iberia, Roy Brien, Jr. of Houma, Dale Brien of Texas, Keith Bergeron of Grey, and Larry Yeager, Jr. of Houma; one grandson, Jaydon Anthony Bonin of New Iberia; and her biological parents, Lawrence Arnold Yeager and Linda Scott Yeager. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oday Rodriguez and Mary P. Rodriguez; and one niece, Kristen K. Verdun. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, August 22, at IbertŐs Mortuary from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visiting will resume Tuesday, August 23, at the Church of the Assumption from 8:00 AM until Mass time. The family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
