Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Ann had touched in some way throughout her life. A memorial service in her honor will be held Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at New Life Tabernacle Church in Morgan City. Ann was born Feb. 10, 1954, in Kosciusko, Miss. She was the daughter of Wallace Pilgrim and Ethel Ratcliff Pilgrim Roy. Ann enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and friends and collecting rocks. AnnÕs life touched so many people. She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Diedrich-Goodman, son-in-law James Cody Goodman, and their daughter Amelia, all of Perrysburg, Ohio. She also leaves behind her brother, Virgil and sister-in-law Helen Pilgrim of Conway, Ark., her sister, Maria and brother-in-law Arby Gearhart of Columbia, Mo., her brother, Calvin and sister-in-law Elizabeth Pilgrim of Bayou LÕOurse, her sister, Linda and brother-in-law Niki Bradley of Orange Beach, Ala., her sister, Lisa and brother-in-law Matt Mayon of Morgan City, and her sister, Earline Roy Horton of Berwick; 11 nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Pilgrim and Ethel Roy; her husband, Dan Diedrich; and her grandparents. Ann will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.
