She was born on July 16, 1917 in Berwick, the daughter of Gilbert and Agnes Theriot Nini. Later in life she married Percy Francis and he preceded her in death. Beatrice retired after working for over 20 years at the Berwick Elementary School as a Cafeteria Cook.. She was a parishioner of St. Stephens Catholic Church in Berwick. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beatrice is survived by one son, Wayne Francis and wife Ellen, of Berwick; one daughter, Nettie Landry and husband Elton, of Houma; six grandchildren, Christine Henry and husband Lud, of Berwick, Michael Francis and wife Rachael, of Houma, Brian Francis, and wife Jeana, of Spring, Texas, Gina Green, of Berwick, Tracey Dugas of Berwick, and Kelly Williamson and husband Matthew, of Berwick. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; four great- great-grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie Agnelly and husband Walter, of Berwick. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Una Russo; two brothers, Wilbert "Shiek" Nini, and Aubrey Nini. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Berwick. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM until the time of mass at the church on Tuesday. Beatrice will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum following the mass. ===================
