HARRIS, ALBERTA ÒMONKÓ ROBINSON 

A Going Home Celebration service will be held for Mrs. Alberta ÒMonkÓ Robinson 
Harris, 79, at 2 p.m., on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at St. John Baptist Church 
in Four Corners, with the Rev. David Jones officiating. She will await the 
resurrection at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Corners.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday at the church, at 11 a.m., 
until the time of service.

A resident of Four Corners, Mrs. Alberta passed on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 
her granddaughterÕs residence in Franklin. She was a member of St. John Baptist 
Church in Four Corners.

She now joins in glory with her parents, Charlie Robinson and Leona Bourgeois 
Robinson; one son, James Harris; one daughter, Brenda Harris; one brother, 
Henry Robinson; one sister, Lena R. Calhoun; and mother-in-law, Ida Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memories and in GodÕs care her loving husband, Lester 
Harris, Sr. of Jeanerette; four sons, Lester Harris Jr. of Sorrell, Anthony 
Harris of Jeanerette, Bernard Harris of New Iberia and Christopher Harris of 
Four Corners; four daughters, Cressia Toussaint of Jeanerette, Theresa Harris 
Archangel (James) of Franklin, Debra Harris of Baldwin and Maxine Edwards 
(Steven) of Four Corners; one brother, Joseph Bourgeois (Yolanda) of Four 
Corners; four sisters, Josephine Robinson of San Francisco, California, Elnora 
Colbert (Darrell) of Four Corners, Shirley Feast (Rev. Warren) of Jeanerette 
and Leona Wiley-Jackson (Pulfrey) of Four Corners.

Active and honorary pallbearers will be immediate members of the family and 
friends.

Final arrangements entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Home of New Iberia, La.
