She was born February 7, 1929 in Thibodaux, the daughter of Henry LeRay, Sr. and Octavia Guillotte. Later in life she married John Noriega and he preceded her in death. Blanche was very devoted to her church, her family, and her home. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed caring for them. She worked for the Sacred Heart Convent for many years. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Allen and husband Timothy, of Patterson; one son, James "Tony" Noriega and wife Diane, of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Jennifer Allen and Daniel Allen, both of Patterson, Rhonda Mayon and husband Byron, of Patterson, Dr. James A. Noriega and wife Solange, of Lafayette; two step-grandchildren, Anthony "Tony" Miller and wife Tammy, of Knoxville, TN, Charity Naquin and husband Brian, of Bunkie, LA. She is also survived by one half brother, Henry LeRay and wife Judy, of Patterson; one half-sister, Penny Hernandez and husband Frank, of Houma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Noriega; one grandson, Timothy Wayne Allen; three brothers, Ritney LeRay, Wilmer LeRay, Gilbert LeRay; one sister, Rose Knudsen; one half-brother, Joseph "Ace" LeRay; one half- sister, JoAnn Lajaunie. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Blanche will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
