A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 2:00 PM at 
St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville for Jeanette Champagne Theriot, a St. 
Martinville native, former longtime resident of Franklin, and a resident of 
Centerville for the past seven years, who passed away Saturday, August 27, 
2011, at 7:40 AM at her home.

Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. 
Father Ruben Primor will officiate the services.

Mrs. Jeanette was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great 
grandmother, sister, and aunt who loved cooking for family and friends. Her 
spaghetti salad will be missed and everyone always looked forward to her 
Christmas pralines and fudge. She was formerly employed at Brown's Thrift City, 
Murphy's Mart, and retired from Sterling Sugars. She was a devoted member of 
St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville.

Survivors include three sons, Terry "T-Pop" Theriot and his wife Cathy of 
Patterson, Keith Theriot and his wife Beverly of Theodore, AL, and Harry P. 
"Ray" Theriot, Jr. of Centerville; two daughters, Brenda T. Blood and her 
husband Glenn of Centerville and Lisa M. Theriot of Denham Springs; one 
brother, Steven Champagne of Breaux Bridge; four sisters, Norma C. Champeaux of 
Loreauville, Shirley C. Champeaux of Loreauville, Patsy C. Champagne of Parks, 
and Vickie C. Langlinais of Parks; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Pierre Theriot, Sr.; and her 
parents, Steve John Champagne and Velma Bergeron Champagne.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church from 10:00 AM until Mass time, with the rosary being prayed at 1:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Terry Theriot, Harry "Ray" Theriot, Jr., Glenn Blood, 
Brandon Blood, Timmy Theriot, Tyler Theriot, Zachary Blood, and Steven 
Champagne, with Keith Theriot as honorary pallbearer.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc.
