Williams Jr., 60, a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas and a resident of Amelia passed away, Monday August 8, 2011 at his residence. Charles retired from the ABC Bait Co. Maintenance after over 22 years of dedication. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a hard worker who loved the land. Charles was a member of the Bayou Chene Land Mark Baptist Church in Amelia. The family requests that visitation be observed Friday, August 12, 2011 from 2pm until time of services at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City with funeral services taking place at 7pm. Burial services will be held privately at a later date. Charles is survived by his wife of 40 years, Irma Falgout Williams of Amelia; three sons, Gregory Williams and his wife, Celeste, of Jeanerette, Nathan Williams and his wife, Heidi, of Amelia, and Carey Williams of Morgan City; one daughter, Hannah Williams of Amelia; two brothers, Billy Williams and his wife, Mary, of Morgan City, and Harold 'Bobby' Williams and his wife, Judy; one sister, Mona Darcey of Lafayette; his step mother, Rosalie Dupuy; two step brothers, Ronald and Herman Charpentier; one step sister, Pam Charpentier; five grandchildren, Cassa, Joseph, Olivia, Alexander, and Cheyenne Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. Williams Sr. and Mildred Rebecca Flannagan Williams Topham; his grandparents; a brother, Larry Don Williams, and a stepbrother, Brad Charpentier. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to: The American Cancer Society Arrangements have been entrusted to Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City, Louisiana. ===================
