Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1109.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Barry Paul Crochet, 57, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital in Lafayette. Barry was born on September 3, 1954 in Morgan City, the son of C.J and Evella Mary Mayon Crochet. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, was an avid reader and also enjoyed watching New Orleans Saints and LSU Tiger football. He was a joker and was always telling stories, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by three children, Amy LeBlanc, of Pierre Part, Sherell Giroir, and husband Matthew, of Patterson, Barry Paul Johnson, of Lafayette; five brothers, Tracy Crochet, and wife Mary, of Berwick, Scott Crochet, and wife Julie, of Morgan City, Ched Crochet, of Morgan City, Eric Crochet, of Morgan City, Dwight Crochet, and wife Kathy, of Berwick. Barry is also survived by three grandchildren, Adam Giroir, and Alaina Giroir, both of Patterson, Ryder LeBlanc, of Pierre Part. Barry was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Barry will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
