FOURNIER, LORRAINE JOHNSON 
July 20, 1923 - September 5, 2011 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Lorraine 
Johnson Fournier, 88, a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Monday, 
September 5, 2011, at her home with her family at her side.

Lorraine was born in Houston, TX on July 20, 1923 to the late Frederick Johnson 
and Mattie Gouner Johnson. She met the love of her life and future husband in 
the 7th grade while attending Franklin High School and was married immediately 
after graduating. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great 
grandmother who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Beverly Joseph Fournier, Sr. of 
Franklin; four children, Beverly J. Fournier, Jr. and his wife Lesia of Breaux 
Bridge, David Terry Fournier and his wife Agnes of Milton, Larry Craig Fournier 
and his husband George Slack of San Francisco, CA, and Karen Sue Fournier 
Bishop and her husband Donald of Jeanerette; eight grandchildren; and 16 great 
grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Annabeth 
Stanley and Arlene Pittman.
