Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1109.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Memorial services will be held Friday, September 16, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson for Mr. Glenn "Ed" Jackson, 79, a native of Eagle City, OK and resident of Bayou Vista, who passed away Monday, September 12, 2011, at 6:53 AM at Teche Regional Medical Center. Rev. Charles Gilder and Rev. Steven Kelly will officiate the service. Ed was a veteran of the United States Army having served from 1947 -1949. He retired from the Department of Justice in Lewisburg Pennsylvania, Bureau of Prisons as Chief Correctional Supervisor. Survivors include his wife, Rhetta (Moore) Webber Jackson of Bayou Vista; his daughter Edwardene Rae Fees and her husband Lynn of Kellyville, Oklahoma; two sons, Michael Gene Jackson and his wife Frances of Mansfield, Texas and Patrick Lee Jackson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his sister, Alyce Imogene (Jackson) Peeples; six grandchildren, Clay Fees, Patrick Fees, Matthew Jackson, Cody Fees, Stephanie Jackson and Jennifer Jackson; four great grandchildren; and three step-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Theodore Jackson, Sr. and Ora Estella (Creamer) Jackson; his 1st wife, Betty Jean (Boston) Jackson; five brothers, James Henry Jackson, Raymond Wilton Jackson, Claude Spears Jackson, William Theodore Jackson, Jr., and Donald Franklin Jackson; and one sister Dorothy Maxine Jackson. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert's Mortuary from 9:00 AM until service time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. ===================
