LONGMAN, EUGENE M. 
July 5, 1941 ~ August 30, 2011

Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 15, at 10 a.m., at the First 
United Methodist Church of Franklin for Mr. Eugene Marvin Longman, 70, a native 
and resident of Franklin, who passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 4:30 
p.m., at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. The Rev. Sue Pugh will officiate 
the service.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Longman was a veteran of the United States Navy and was formerly employed 
at Himel Motor Supply for many years.

Survivors include his son, Jonathan Longman and his wife, Mary, of Franklin; 
one grandson, Trey Longman of Franklin; one brother, Sidney Longman Jr. of 
Franklin, and two sisters, Victoria ÒChee CheeÓ Corley of Patterson and Sarah 
Locascio of Morgan City.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Bryan Longman; and his parents, Sidney 
Longman Sr. and Beryl Alford Longman.
