She is survived by six sons, Lionel Mitchell Jr. and wife, Renea, of Franklin; Clyde Mitchell Sr. and wife, Pamela; Alfred Mitchell and wife, June, Gerald Mitchell Sr. and wife, Daisy, of the St. Joseph Community; Eric Mitchell and wife, Hilda, of Baldwin; Donald Mitchell and wife, Melissa, of Renton, Washington; seven daughters, Audrey Washington of Charenton; Gloria Pigg and husband, Leonard Jr.; Cynthia Collins and husband, Charles; Jacquelin Mitchell, Geraldine Peters and husband, George, of St. Joseph Community; Gertrude Bourgeois and husband, Lynol, of Patterson; and Mary Verrett and husband, Bertis, of Lafayette; three brothers, Granderson Hamilton Jr. and Herman Hamilton of St. Joseph Community and Harry Hamilton of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Beatrice Mouton of Lake Charles and Gloria Hawkins of Severn, Maryland; 27 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and three brothers. AdaÕs Chapter of Eastern Stars is asked to attend. Visitations will be observed Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel. Burial rites will be read Wednesday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. Ulysses Mitchell Jr. officiating Interment will follow in the Irish Bend Cemetery in the St. Joseph Community. The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations. ===================
