Funeral services are incomplete at this time for Lallas "Joseph "L. J." 
Thibodeaux, Jr., 50, a Franklin native and resident of Baldwin, who passed away 
Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 11:15 AM in Meridian, Mississippi as the 
result of a trucking accident.

L. J. enjoyed hunting and fishing, and passing a good time with family and 
friends. He was a former member of the Franklin Jaycees and was a truck driver 
for the past 28 years.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Kathleen Laine' Thibodeaux of Baldwin; 
one daughter, Angelique Thibodeaux of Baldwin; mother, Barbara Borel Thibodeaux 
of Sikes; three brothers, Lawrence Thibodeaux of Baldwin, Tony Thibodeaux of 
Winnfield, and Bob Thibodeaux of St. Francisville; one sister, Tammie Franks of 
Sikes; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Laine' Robicheaux of Baldwin; two brothers-
in-law, Paul "Polo" Laine' of New Iberia and John "Johnny" Laine' of The 
Woodlands, Texas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lallas Joseph Thibodeaux, Sr.; one 
sister, Barbara Ann Thibodeaux Miller; his parents-in-law, Paul and Lena 
Laine'; paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Mathile Thibodeaux; maternal 
grandparents, Wilfred and Marie Borel; aunt and uncle, Marjorie and Henry 
Belanger; sister-in-law, Linda Laine' Albert; and brother-in-law, Jeff Laine'.

Pallbearers will be Lawrence Thibodeaux, Tony Thibodeaux, Bob Thibodeaux, Paul 
Laine', Johnny Laine', Richard Childress, Chris Ardeneaux, and Gilbert 
Louviere. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Broussard, Ronald Perrodin, Eddie 
Babb, Lisa Buteaux, and Keith Romero.

The family asks that donations be made to help alleviate funeral expenses.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc.
