She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Church in Bayou Black. Visitation will be held at the Falgout Funeral Home Chapel today, Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Visitation will resume at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at St. Anthony Church. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Marguerite is survived by two sons, Roy Giroir Jr. and Merriel Giroir and his wife Maria; three daughters, Jean Marie Giroir, Susan Mary Giroir, and Irma Caro and her husband Bud; five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy John Giroir; her parents, John M. and Eunice Robicheaux Dufren; one brother, John Dufren Jr.; and five sisters, Vesta Falgout, Irene Daigle, Jean Marie Dufren, Ida Falgout and Edith Porche. Falgout Funeral Home, 211 Westside Blvd., Houma, is in charge of the arrangements. ===================
