Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1110.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, October 21, 2011, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson for Mr. Edward E. Mensman, 80, a native of Morgan City and longtime resident of Patterson, who passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at 9:26 AM at his home. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Fr. Ruben Primor will officiate the services. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jo Ann Justilian Mensman of Patterson; four children, Elizabeth Mensman of New Iberia, Kim Mensman of Purvis, MS; Susan Mensman of Patterson; and Tammy Mensman Moseley and her husband Allen of Broussard; one brother, Ward A. Mensman of Morgan City; ten grandchildren; Daphney Wallake, Cade Doega, Glenn Jumonville, Tasha Lombas, Bobbie Jo Paul, Summer Mensman, Ethan Mensman, Joshua Moseley, Jacob Moseley, and Michael Moseley; one niece; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ward Alonzo Mensman and Eula Beadle Mensman; and an infant son, Michael Paul Mensman. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until Mass time. Pallbearers will be Allen Moseley, Joshua Moseley, Jacob Moseley, Michael Moseley, Cade Doega, Andre' Justilian, and James Vining. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Mensman and Glenn Jumonville.
