Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1110.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Carl Lee Palmature Sr. a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his beloved wife of over 51 years and his children. He was a devoted husband, father and paw-paw that loved his family dearly. He loved life and loved being out in the bayous in which he grew up in. He will be missed by all the people that he had touched during his lifetime. Carl is survived by his wife, Marie D. Palmature of Morgan City; two sons: Carl L. Palmature Jr. and wife, Rhonda of Patterson and Troy Palmature and companion, Christy Angeron of Morgan City; two daughters: Cheryl P. Shilling and husband, Lee of Morgan City and Inez P. Mann and husband, Dennis of Jackson, GA; eight grandchildren: Johnny, Carl, Daniel, Ryan, Kristin, Kayla, Michael and Tyler; one step-grandchild, Tara Kennedy; ten great grandchildren; two brothers: Jimmy Palmature of Morgan City and Lonzo Palmature of Houston; one sister, Jearnell Buteaux of Patterson along with numerous nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo Palmature and Rita Breaux; step-father, Ridley Breaux; one great grandchild and maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 beginning at 9am until 11am at Twin City Funeral Home with a service beginning at 11am. Carl will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Joseph Hospice, 103 Ridgefield Rd., Thibodaux, LA 70301. ===================
