Percle, 80, a native of Franklin and a resident of Morgan City passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by her husband and children. Elmira was a very compassionate and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She cared for them unconditionally and would never ask for anything in return. Elmira will be missed but never forgotten. Elmira is survived by her husband, Joseph Percle Sr. of Morgan City; three sons: Joseph Percle Jr. and wife, Carol, Scott Percle and wife, Kim and Chad Romero all of Morgan City; two daughters: Vickie Romero and husband, Gus and Judy Rodriquez and husband, Samuel both of Morgan City; eight grandchildren: Jody, Jamie, Toby Percle, Chaisty Jones, Kayla, Kourtney, Keith Percle and Brooks Bourque; eight great grandchildren; one brother, John Carter of Morgan City and one sister, "Tot" Christenson along with a host of nieces and nephews. Elmira was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Elda Carter; four brothers and five sisters. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 9am until 12pm with a service starting at 12pm. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
