Anderson, 82, a native of Norphlet, Arkansas and a resident of Patterson for over 50 years, who passed away Wednesday, November 09, 2011, at 9:25 AM at Lafayette General Medical Center. Mr. Anderson was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who never met a stranger. He retired as a pipeline inspector from Louisiana Intrastate Gas, to which he dedicated over 40 years of faithful service. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Carolyn Doty Anderson of Patterson; two sons, Brent and his wife Mona of Houma, and Robert and his wife Ava of Lafayette; one daughter, Mary of Thibodaux; an additional daughter-in-law, Dorothy of Alexandria; seven grandchildren, Phillip, Robert II, Lauren, Grant, Adrianna, Kamryn, and Randy; and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his godmother/sister-in-law, Dolores Doty Hahn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee B. Anderson Sr. and Myrtle Williams Anderson; one son, Terry Anderson; one brother, Charles Anderson; and one sister, Jessie Bell Reagan. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, November 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Pallbearers will be Robert, Robert II, Donald Sr., Donald Jr., Grant, and Brent. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. ===================
