RITA M. BORDELON

Rita Marcotte Bordelon, 90, of Plaucheville, died November 21, 2011 at 
Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home.

Services will be Friday, November 25, at 1 p.m., at the Immaculate Conception 
Catholic Church in Dupont, La. The Rev. George Krosfield will officiate. 
Entombment will follow in the St. Mary Assumption #2 Mausoleum in Cottonport.

Visitations will be Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Immaculate Conception 
Church Hall in Dupont, with a rosary service at 12 p.m.

Survivors include her husband, Ema Antoine Bordelon of Plaucheville; one son, 
Michael James Bordelon (Eva) of Plaucheville; granddaughter, Amanda Norred 
(Randy) of Plaucheville; grandson, Rushian Bordelon (Amanda Lafleur) of 
Carencro; great grandchild, Anita Lee Norred of Plaucheville; brother, Dr. Lacy 
Marcotte of Thibodaux; three sisters, Vera Wainwright (Glenn) of New Orleans, 
Lily Vigil (Earl) of Baton Rouge and Theresa Lemoine of Bunkie; and numerous 
nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Marcotte; mother, Lenore Goudeau 
Marcotte; and one sister, Gladys Andress.

Escude Funeral Home in Mansura is in charge of arrangements.
