Visitation will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Thursday, December 1st, 2011 from 8:00 AM until funeral at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery. Clarence attended Morgan City Colored High School, where he was known to be a fun loving person. God Blessed "Russell" with a loving personality. He accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. Clarence loved his church family. Clarence leaves to cherish his memory; three sons, Clarence Brown, Jr., and Carlos Bias (Connie) both of Morgan City, La., and Billy Brown (Stephanie) of Berwick, La; seven daughters, Dana Brown of Houston, TX., Regina Brown and Nicole W. Bowman (Rondell) both of Morgan City, La., four adopted daughters, Clarice Brown and Andrea Johnson both of Morgan City, La., Candice Brown of Larose, La., and Lisa Johnson of Gonzales, La; one brother, Lionel Brown (Orena) of Thibodeaux, La; two sisters, Ruby Collins and Dorothy Johnson both of Morgan City, La; three sisters-in-law, Joan Watson, Barbara Watson and Claudell Watson all of Morgan City, La., three brothers-in-law, Jackie L. Watson, Sr.(Brenda), Eric Watson, Sr., (Shirley) and Gerald Watson (Mary) all of Morgan City, La. He also leaves a legacy of six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Delores D. Brown, his parents, Mr. Clarence Brown and Rosetta Ford, four brothers-in-law, one sister- in-law, a son and two great-grandchildren. ===================
