Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at 1:00 PM at 
Ibert's Mortuary for Mr. Roy Joseph Cole, 73, a New Orleans native and lifelong 
resident of Franklin, who peacefully passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 
his home. 
Inurnment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. 
Deacon Harry Darce will officiate the services.

Roy was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid 
classic car enthusiast, NASCAR fan, and sports fan.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Jeanne D'Albor Cole of Franklin; three 
children, Stephen Cole and his wife Lori of Charenton, Laurie C. Tortell and 
her husband Greg of Sierra Madre, CA, and Chuck Alfano and his wife Hailey of 
Franklin; one sister, Joyce Landry and her husband Edgar of Baldwin; 11 
grandchildren, Dustin, Devan and her husband Brandan, Ariel, Trey, Lanie, Traé, 
Trevor, Cole, Olivia, Titus, and Thadeaus.

He was preceded in death by his father, Will Cole; his mother, Agatha Laine 
Guidry; and a nephew, Randy Landry.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, November 9, at 
Ibert's Mortuary from 10:30 AM until time of service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main St., 
Franklin, LA,
