Huey was born on September 16, 1967 in Morgan City, the son of Huey Joseph Comeaux, Sr. and Barbara Ann Dupre. Huey was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed crabbing, crawfishing, and frogging. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and was an avid pool player. His greatest joy was spending time with his family but especially enjoyed spending time with his father out in the boat. Survivors include his parents, Huey Joseph Comeaux, Sr. and Barbara Ann Dupre Comeaux, of Amelia; one son, Huey Joseph Comeaux, III, of Amelia; three sisters, Penny Comeaux Burney, and husband Stanley, of Amelia, Darlene Comeaux Ohmer, and husband Huey, of Amelia, Angela Comeaux Legendre, and husband Craig, of Shriever; former spouse, Donna Comeaux and companion Chris Stansbury; two step-daughters, Angelle Gradrey and husband Kenneth, Shyla LaCoste; two step- grandchildren Ethan James Gradrey and Sarah Lynn Gradrey; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Sterling and Helen Dupre and Ulyesse and Nelia Comeaux; one niece, Heather Ohmer; numerous aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be Heath Ohmer, Stanley Burney, Jr., Craig Legendre, Huey Comeaux, III, Brian Derouen, Jamie Fruge, Josh Pellissier, Glynn Kennerson, Jr., Corey Scully. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at St. Andrew Catholic Church with Father Joseph Chacko officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass on Thursday at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Huey will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery. ===================
