Jo Ann Written Francis, 67, a native of Morgan City and life long resident of 
Berwick passed away, Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical 
Center.

Mrs. Jo Ann is survived by her daughter by Lacy Louviere and her husband, 
Brian, of Berwick; her son, Russell Francis of Berwick; two step daughters, 
Valarie Launey of Ricohoc and Clair Viguerie of Abbeville; two sisters, Neda 
Guidry of Patterson and Cathy Saucier of Charenton; three grandchildren, Daisey 
Evivie of New Iberia, Russell Francis Jr. of Bayou Vista, and Brian Louviere II 
of Bayou Vista; three great grandchildren and one expected great grandchild on 
the way.

Jo Ann loved being a Mawmaw. Her happiest moments were of spending time with 
her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Francis; her father, William 
James Written II; and her mother, Emily Viola Dinger Written.

The family requests that visitation be observed Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 
10am to 1:30pm at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Funeral Services will 
be held Sunday, November 6th at 1:30pm at Hargrave Funeral Home with Brother 
Bobby Hodnett officiating the services. In keeping with of Mrs. Joann's wishes, 
cremation will follow after services.
