Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011, at 1:00 PM at Ibert's 
Mortuary for Beverly Ann Fiew Lowry, 73, a native of Corpus Christi, TX, was 
raised in Edna, TX, and a resident of Franklin since 1956, who passed away 
Sunday, November 6, 2011, at 10:14 AM at her home. 
Burial will follow in Beau Pré Cemetery in Jeanerette. 
Rev. Bobby Hodnett will officiate the services.

Survivors include three sons, Alva "Peanut" Lowry, Jr. and his wife Sheila of 
Lafayette, Vernon Reeves Lowry and his wife Donna of Verdunville, and Michael 
Steven Lowry of Franklin; one daughter, Kim Lowry Comeaux and her husband Kerry 
of Bayou Vista; one brother, James Fiew of Edna, TX; four sisters, Fay Newman of 
Elgin, TX, Jane New of Edna, TX, Peggy Schattette of Elgin, TX, and Nell Finley 
of Kennesaw, GA; eight grandchildren, Shawn West, Amanda Broussard, Stewart 
West, Jr., Opal West, Rachel Barras, Travis Lowry, Lauren Lowry, and Amy Lowry 
Sauce; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bemmie Lee Fiew and Opal Price Fiew.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, November 10, at Ibert's 
Mortuary from 10:00 AM until time of service.
