Visitation will be Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Jeanerette, La., from 9:30 AM, Rosary at 10:00 AM and funeral service will be at 11:00 AM. "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. i have kept the Faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 Cecilia Bell Jones was born on January 3, 1930 to the late A'Lena Bazille Bell in St. Martinville, La. She was "the baby girl" - the youngest of three sisters. She lived in New Iberia, La., and graduated from Jonas Henderson High School in 1948. She moved to Jeanerette when she married Alfred Isadore Jones, II, and lived there raising her family; serving her church; the community; and working with her husband in their business, for all of her life. She was a woman of great faith, and abounding talent, with a servant's heart. She was a faithful and devoted member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church for over 60 years. She was an active member of the Knights of Peter Claver 3rd and 4th Degree Ladies Auxiliary; the church choir; the Bible study Group; and she served several terms on the Church Parish Council. Cecilia served as a lecturer and a Eucharistic Minister for her church. She worked with the Aids Outreach program based in Lafayette and attended monthly meetings there. She prepared countiess meals, made pecan pies, popcorn balls, cakes and gave her time and talents whenever her Church Community needed her to. "Ms. Cecil" worked sise by side with her husband, Isadore in the family business, "Community Cleaners", for over 40 years. She also worked briefly as an insurance agent for State Farm. She leaves to continue her legacy and cherish her memories, her husband of 61 years, Alfred Isadore Jones, III of St. Martinville, La; two daughters and their husbands, Deborah J. Hutchin and Lawrence "Pop" Hutchin of Baton Rouge, La., and Mary Jones Martin and Fernest "Pac-Man" Martin, Sr., of Jeanerette; a sister, Celina Arceneaux of Jamaica, New York; a brother-in-law and his wife, Alfred (Jorace) Anderson and Georgia Anderson of Albany, New York, twenty grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cecilia was preceded in death by her four children; Alfreda Marie Jones, Karl Luke "Clyde" Jones, Allen Paul Jones and Alfred "AJ" Isadore Jones, III; her mother, A'Lena Bazilla Bell and her sister, Mary Bell Rochelle (Auntie). ===================
