LEONARD, LOVELACE 
September 14, 1921 — December 14, 2011

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, at Vincent 
Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Lovelace Leonard, 90, who died 
Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. 
He was laid to rest at Greene Cemetery 
with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anita Lemaire Leonard of Forked Island; 
one son, Ronald Leonard and his wife Debbie of Bridge City, Texas; one 
daughter, Judy Ann and her husband Robert Darby of Morgan City; one brother, 
Ewell Leonard of Hayes; one sister, Mildred Meaux of Kaplan; eight 
grandchildren, Chris and Melissa Leonard, Chad and Troy McNiel, Kelly Vining, 
Tiffany Crappell, and Tim and Robbie Darby; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernand Leonard and the former Edna 
Gaspard.

A rosary was said Thursday at 7 p.m. during visitation.

All funeral arrangements were conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan
