Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Baldwin. Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. Alma was a devoted wife and mom while working side by side with her husband Ory, in their photography business for 58 years. She especially cherished the times she was able to travel with her husband on photography assignments as far away as Mexico and Europe. She was well known as a talented portrait oil colorist working with photographs taken by her husband and later her son Ken. Many generations of clients proudly display beautiful hand painted portraits that she created. Alma was a member of the Church of Assumption, Ladies Altar Society and was a member of the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Hardcastle and her husband William "Dub" of Fayetteville, Arkansas, one son Kenny Miguez and his wife Kay of New Iberia; one sister, Lucille Gaudet of Belle River; two grandsons, Jeff Hardcastle and his wife Donna of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Brent Hardcastle of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two great granddaughters, Aubrey and Sara Hardcastle; one sister-in- law, Eula Mae Black of Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ory J. Miguez; an infant son; her parents, Jules Blanchard, Sr. and Myrthe Crochet Blanchard; three brothers, Abel, Claude, and Jules Blanchard, Jr.; and eight sisters, Agatha Hernandez, Mattie Vaughan, Hattie LeBlanc, Delta Daigle, Rita Daigle, Nilda Vaughan, Loretta Sedatol, and Winnie Leonard. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Mrs. Alma's caregiver and friend, Karen Hebert, as well as to Eula Mae Black, Boni Ritter, Mary Daigle, Ceraline Templet, and Butch and Diane Daigle. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at Ibert's Mortuary from 10:00 AM until Mass time, with the rosary being prayed at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Elizabeth Richardson Center, 3917 S. Old Missouri Rd., Springdale, AR 72764 or the Iberia Humane Society, P.O.
